| The Life |
It's Carleen, nice to meet you. Early twenties, and starting to feel old already. Small town Indiana is my home, and just because I talk with an accent doesn't mean I'm not intelligent. I wear flip flops year-round. Music is life. Beatles = love. J'adore la pluie. Peace signs, rubber duckies, and rainbows rock. Former High School Band geek and proud of it. I smile constantly, cry at the drop of a hat. I'm a Dreamer. Selfish only child. Sarcasm's the best defense. Conflict avoidance is a specialty of mine. Sharp tongue. In college, hate it with a blistering passion, but a degree will make me look good right? I have no direction. Wish I could move to New York and become a penniless writer. I believe one person can change the world. Try everything once, no matter the price.
Sci-Fi and Fantasy are my original loves. Lancelot and Guinevere ftw. Vampires too. Without books, there'd be no reason to live. I love to hula hoop, especially in Wal-mart. Favorites include:Runaway Train by Soul Asylum, royal blue, mashed potatoes, Halloween. I'm one of the biggest Buffy lovers you'll ever meet. I'm getting that way with Heroes and Supernatural too. I Obsess easily. Collect livejournal icons, occasionally make them. Remember random information. Good with names and faces, especially with unknown actors.

I'll always be a fangirl, but I go through phases of obsession. I blame my mother, who took me to 9, yes, nine, Star Trek conventions in my childhood. But now I'm not complaining. I'll embrace my not-so-inner geek/nerd/dork whenever I want to now. Buffyverse is my first love always. Joss Whedon is amazing. I can get into almost any show, really. Heroes is my number one currently. Head over to crimson_rainbow for my personal fanfiction. My love for fanfiction comes and goes, but I'm currently reading everything I can find.
The movies: Star Wars, Gone with the Wind, The Princess Bride, Newsies, The Labryinth, Gone in 60 Seconds, Armageddon, The Italian Job, Hook, RENT, The Wizard of Oz, for starters.
The music: The Beatles, Death Cab for Cutie, Taking Back Sunday, Within Temptation, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Coldplay, Coheed and Cambria, and much more. I couldn't begin to list them all.
